Dr Pepper Museum

Though the museum is not officially a part of the Dr Pepper organization it does a remarkable job of telling the soda’s story. The museum offers a brief history of carbonated beverages in general and then pays homage to the peppery drink that has a cult-like following. Since we are both DP fans we had a wonderful time exploring the three floors of exhibits. The montage of old TV commercials soon had us singing “Wouldn’t you like to be a Pepper too?” and laughing at the clothing and styles of the 70s and 80s. The gift shop had every thing DP that you could think of including and I am not kidding, a Dr Pepper cookbook! We saved the best part for last, a tasty treat from the old-fashioned soda counter. Stop in and ask them to “Shoot you a Waco”. Oh, and visit their website for a discount coupon off the admission price before you go.
