Lake Bob Sandlin State Park
We camped here in March of 2007 and it was amazing. The campground was fairly empty and quiet and the flowers were gorgeous. The Dogwoods were stunning bursts of white in the forest, the Redbuds added a bit of fuchsia, while the Wisteria hung in great purple clusters. We wandered the trails and the shore always finding some creature to marvel at. We heard the fishing was pretty good too. Watch out for the poison ivy – it is everywhere!
