Iggy’s Doughboys and Chowder House
If you are ever in Warwick you must stop at Iggy’s, its an amazing experience. Just be sure to forget about your diet and your cholesterol. Follow the signs for Oakland Beach, grab a parking spot and get in line behind the crowd. They’ll be in front of Iggy’s waiting to order at the window. After ordering, grab one of the very popular and scenic seats on the patio overlooking the water. When your number is called grab your food from the small window and prepare for a taste of greatness. The clam chowder was fantastic, the clamcakes were a first for me and I loved them. Save room for freshly made doughboys, you shouldn’t miss them. They would be easy to get addicted to. Iggy’s will be our first stop when we return to Warwick.

Crow’s Nest
This small family-owned restaurant alongside Apponoag Cove in Warwick doesn’t serve fancy gourmet fare just good old seafood classics, like clam chowder, clam cakes, and lobster rolls. The portions were large, the prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious! If you get a window table there is a nice view of the cove, otherwise you’ll be entertained with the nautical decor. They also have non-seafood items on the menu if, gasp, someone in your party doesn’t care for food from the ocean. Hint: Open for lunch and dinner. Caution: The Crow’s Nest is very popular, expect to wait for a table. The parking lot fills quickly but there is ample parking nearby.
