Roamers Rest RV Park

We stayed here in 2006 so when it came time to return to the Portland area we knew just where to stay. We especially like this park because it is close to friends of ours but we’d still like it even if it wasn’t. The Park has a great location, south of Portland on the way out to the vineyards in the Willamette Valley. Since it is in the suburbs of Portland there is a TriMet bus stop right out in front of the park but once you enter the Park you forget about the city and the busy streets. The sites are a bit close together but each site has a small lawn and a shade tree. The park has been around for awhile but it is immaculately cared for, both in landscaping and cleanliness. The Park has two laundry rooms and two bathhouses. There is also a lending library in the office and a horseshoe pit down by the river. Very close to shopping and restaurants. We just wish they had small picnic tables at each site! Free WiFi. Caution: The entrance to the Park is on a steep hill. Since their trees are so tall and most of the sites are down by the river it is almost impossible to get satellite reception.
