Grants Pass Pharmacy & Soda Fountain
Located inside a still-operating drugstore and gift shop is a wonderful old-time soda fountain. Grab a seat at the small formica-topped bar or at one of the few cafe tables and prepare to step back in time. Stop in and eat lunch, have an ice cream concoction, or better yet try a couple phosphates. It was fun experimenting with the different flavors of sodas and phosphates. The hardest part will be deciding which flavor but don’t worry, they only cost a quarter, so you can easily afford to try several kinds. It was a perfect place to get out of the heat during a warm summer’s day.

Rogue Valley Overnighter RV Park
We randomly picked this RV park and were pleased with our stay there. Located at the north end of town, the park has easy access to I-5 with several restaurants with-in walking distance. Just down the hill from the park is the small downtown area and the Rogue River. The park has two sections, the one in the back is full with permanent units while the section closer to the road is for short term stays. We had no neighbors during our stay. We took advantage of the extra space by eating most of our meals at the picnic table on our small grass lawn. The park has a few tent sites and some pull-thrus. The bathhouse, laundry room and rec room were clean and well-maintained.
