Erie Canal Discovery Center
Located one block from the current Erie Canal and the historic Lockport Locks this museum provides an overview of the building of the canal in a fun, interactive manner. Don’t miss the orientation film as it is very well done. There are lots of hands-on activities for kids (and adults, too). While there pick up the walking tour brochure, which explains some of the sites around Lockport’s “Flight of Five.”
