Aztec Ruins National Monument
This National Monument focuses not only on its high density dwellings left behind by the Ancestral Puebloans but also on its relation to other settlements in the area. The highlight of the park is the fully restored Great Kiva. Being inside the center of the once thriving community was powerful, we could almost envision what their life must have been like. Pack a lunch as this place has enough to explore for at least a half a day.
