New Mexico
We’ve spent a good amount of time exploring New Mexico over the years. We are attracted to the state’s wide open spaces and small towns. We imagine that Arizona must have been something like that 50 years ago or so. Not to say that New Mexico is behind the times as that is not the case. The state just seems to be more in touch with its Native American, Spanish and Mexican heritage—which lends a special feel to the place.
