TimberLand Camping Area
This small campground is right off the highway just a few miles east of Gorham. It is an older park with lots of trees. We were able to use our satellite but only after moving sites. The pool was small but clean, the recreation rooms smelled old and musty. The restrooms and showers were clean. There is a small store with a little bit of everything. There are train tracks that run behind the park which can be a bit loud but trains only came through at a rate of about one a day so it wasn’t a bother. Very quiet park. As a bonus there is a Visitor Center just to the east of the park (walking distance) that has tons of information and brochures about the White Mountain area.
