Big Sky Brewing
We pulled off the Interstate in Missoula for an unscheduled stop at Big Sky Brewing Company’s fairly new Taproom and brewery. Conveniently located near the off-ramp the facility offers views into the brewing process, tons of beer related merchandise, and samples of their fantastic beers. Far and away my favorite beer of theirs is Moose Drool, even though the name sounds awful you simply must try it. They also make a tasty IPA and their Slow Elk (aka cow) Oatmeal Stout received a thumbs-up from Lance. Hint: Tours of the brewery are offered on Fridays. Caution: The taproom closes early in the evening, usually around 6pm or so.
