Half Way Motel

This motel was in a good location for our weekend blitz through Glacier. As the name says they are half-way between East and West Glacier. So the first day we toured favorite spots on the eastside and the second day we hit stuff on the west. Our room was large and clean, had a coffee pot, small fridge, and microwave which came in handy. We found their rates to be very reasonable compared to other offerings in the Glacier area. The motel office is inside the small restaurant and store across the parking area. There are train tracks across Hwy 2 and trains do blow their whistles nearby but the noise didn’t bother us. Caution: The motel is in the middle of nowhere—with the nearest stores and gas many miles away in either direction—so come prepared. The restaurant and store are closed on Sunday.
