Wompatuck State Park
This state park is located near the quaint town of Hingham, southwest of Boston. In Hingham you can catch public transport into Boston. The park has miles of trails to explore and plenty of water for those with canoes or kayaks. There is also the Mt. Blue Spring which bubbles with fresh water for drinking. The park has both non-hook-up and electric sites (no water hook-ups though water spigots are nearby), restrooms with showers and a dump station. Caution: The entrance station was staffed with young men that were more interested in talking than helping customers.
