Cherry Hill RV Park

This is the closest park to D.C. and though it is quite expensive it has location, location, location. The park offers quite a few amenities beyond the normal bathhouse and laundry room; they have a swimming pool, hot tub, game room, pool tables, a playground, a playing field, an outdoor movie theater, snack shop, camp store and a depot where both city and tour buses stop. The park is fully aware of why people are there and they hold meetings where they share basic information about D.C. and the sights. They also have good supply of brochures and maps of the area. Since most everything in D.C. is free the expensive rent didn’t blow our budget. Caution: The park is bordered by two interstates, the I-495 and I-95, so the traffic noise can be quite loud.
