This store is so huge and so full of stuff that they have different buildings for the various outdoor activities like boating, biking, skiing, hunting and fishing. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed wandering through the massive store. We didn’t buy anything there but we did stop at the nearby Outlet store. Two cool things about the flagship store – it is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and they offer instructional adventures like kayaking, fly casting and archery for a small fee.

L.L. Bean Outlet Store

This store is not open 24/7 but the prices make up for the reduced hours. The place is crammed with quality outdoor apparel and adventure accessories. And yes, we found a few things we “needed”.
