The Balmy Days II
Our day trip out to Monhegan Island was incredible. The water was mellow and full of sealife, dolphins danced alongside the boat for much of the way and we even saw a couple whales in the distance. The brightly colored lobster buoys bobbed in the shallower water and we passed several old lighthouses along the way. This trip is only available from May to October though there are other boats that leave from other towns along the coast that might make the run at other times of the year.
