It is fast food, mostly chicken and much of it is fried, but the decor is nice and comfortable. They are located throughout the southern states and yes, they have sweet tea! A nice change from the regular assortment of fast food choices we are familiar with.

Dahlonega Gold Museum Historic Site
The museum occupies the old Lumpkin County Courthouse and as such it figures prominently on the historic, downtown square. The museum has a short film about gold, its discovery in the area in 1829, the ensuing rush and the hold the precious metal continues to have on some of the area’s residents. We spent a bit over an hour exploring the museums couple floors, the displays of actual gold are quite stunning.
