Crater of Diamonds State Park
This state park offers the only place in the world where the public can search for diamonds and keep what they find. The park rents equipment, offers information on finding and identifying diamonds, and they will verify and weigh your diamond if you are lucky enough to find one. There is also an informative museum, a nice camping area and several nature trails. Caution: This park is very rural, the small town of Murfreesboro has the basics but be sure to stock up before visiting.
