Road Wise: Bay Gulls
“There’s no such thing as seagulls. Only bay gulls.”
Spoken by George our volunteer bird tour guide at Padre Island National Seashore. It took us half the day to figure out what he meant! Say it out loud, you’ll get it.
What is “Road Wise?” At the beginning of every month we will share a thought provoking (if sometimes silly) quote with you. We may draw from a variety of sources (signs, brochures or conversations), but they will all have one thing in common—they entered our lives because we are on the road.
