P53 Enfield Musket Firing
As part of our visit to Fort Pulaski National Monument, we witnessed the nine simple steps of firing the Civil War era musket by a National Park ranger dressed in Union Army garb.
Not so fast, eh? According to the ranger, a fast loader could get 3 shots off per minute (one every 20 seconds or so).
