The 2007 Travvies, “The Best Travel Blogs on the Web”, are open for public voting. “Travel Adventures with Lance and Erin” was in the mix as a nominee from the first rounds of public nominations but unfortunately we didn’t make the final cut.

Finalists were announced on February 21, and you can vote via an online poll.

Polling closes February 28 at 7PM EST. The winner in each category will be the finalist who receives the most votes from the general public; winners will be announced on March 2nd.

Our site was a nominee for the “Best Travel Blog” category (originally nominated on Upgrade Travel Better’s official announcement).

As the overall winner, this award will go to a blog whose travel-related writings have been consistently interesting, entertaining, useful, well-written, or otherwise worth spending time reading.

Go vote for the best travel blogs, and maybe next year we’ll get into the finals… (To be honest, I didn’t even know about the Travvies awards or that we were nominated until I saw the incoming links from the nominations.)
