Introducing a new feature here on Travel Adventures with Lance and Erin: “Mystery Photo.”
Each month I will post a new photo for you to try and decipher. The photos are not doctored, they are the glorious combination of two things: my lack of ability as a photographer and the subjects’ stubborn refusal to be photographed.

How to play: Find a hidden item (usually an animal) in the photo, then place your guess in the comment area below. Please be as specific as possible.

Wow, that was fast! Congrats, Alison. You nailed it right on the, err, beak.
Cool idea! I’m going have to beat “Early Bird Alison” next month. I admit I wouldn’t have gotten this one since I still don’t exactly “see” it and I surely wouldn’t have known it was a Green Heron.
