[UPDATE: I apologize for the poor quality of these two video clips. I have reloaded them—hopefully it’s better! Please send feedback through our contact form. File sizes are bigger, but the picture is clearer now.]

Today I’d like to share two videos with you. Both are from our visit to Newport, Oregon (we wrote about it in Central Oregon Coast).

Video 1: Beer Bubbles

While visiting the Rogue Brewery in Newport, Oregon, we saw an interesting sight. The brewery makes you walk past all the vats of brewing beer on your way into the tasting room and restaurant. As we passed a big metal holding tank, we heard “bubble, pop, bubble… ”

The sound was coming from beer overflowing from the tank, and spilling into a 50 gallon drum. Check out the video and watch for the beer bubbles:

Video 2: Newport Sea Lions

One of Newport’s fun spots is the old town with it’s fishing wharves and boat docks. We spent at least an hour there smelling the smells, listening to the sounds, and checking out the antics of the resident sea lions.
