Home for a Bit (Then Gone)
This year is a travel year for us! After being home from Europe for a week or two, we headed out to Michigan and Ohio for a week.
The big event in Michigan: ordination of two family members into the Covenant church ministry. That’s right, my sister Adria and my brother-in-law are both ministers (officially, now!). Even though they have both been serving for a while it was a big milestone to be publicly ordained.
The occasion was also a good chance for our immediate family to get together for a mini reunion. The only sibling missing was sister Cammy, who unfortunately was not able to attend. We had fun talking, looking at family photos, swimming, and exploring the Grand Rapids area.
