Foals Romping in Spanish Grass
This is the last video clip from our 2006 Europe trip. While in Villablino, Spain, we took several spectacular walks through the mountains and valleys of northwest Spain with my parents. All over the hillsides and in villages were animals: sheep, goats, cows, dogs, cats, and of course, horses!
The morning of this filming, we passed through field after field with mares and their newborn babies. They were cute, and most of the little ones could barely stand up. After lunch, we saw these two older foals romping and playing in the green grass. Not only could these two stand up, but they ran around like crazy while we watched in fascination.
